Urgent insolvency auction of Parklands home expected to draw interest

The four-bedroomed Parklands, Milnerton, property that will be offered in an urgent insolvency auction on Friday, 20 February, is expected to attract lots of interest, as the area remains a very popular one among auction-goers.

This is the view of Andrew James, director of the Michael James Organisation, who will wield the gavel at the on-site sale. “Milnerton is always favoured for its easy access to the City Bowl, while having all its own amenities - including hospitals, shops, schools and even Blouberg Beach - on its doorstep,” he says.

The property on offer – which is situated at 1 Wimbledon Way, Parklands - has a double-volume feature lounge with an “open-air” feel; a dining room, a fitted kitchen with scullery and an entertainment room.

“The four bedrooms offer plenty of accommodation,” he adds. “Two have en-suite bathrooms and there is an additional family bathroom.”

The garden is enclosed and has a paved pool area.  The double garage provides direct access, ensuring secure entry into the house.

James adds that the home – which is also described as Erf No. 27850, Milnerton – is sited on a 587m² stand.

The property can be viewed between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday, 15 February, and will be auctioned on site at 11.15am on Friday, 20 February.

The auction terms are that a 10 percent deposit plus auctioneer’s commission will be payable on the fall of the hammer, with the balance required on transfer.
